Council Of Verona: Corruption Mini Preview

I was fortunate enough to be sent a preview copy of the Corruption expansion for the game Council of Verona from designer Michael Eskue and Crash Games. I love the base game, and my family loves playing with the Poison expansion, so I was really excited to get an opportunity to play it early! You can see my mini preview here:

One thing I didn’t note in the preview on BGG was the component quality. Now, I realize this is a crazy thing to talk about with preview copies, but I have to say that I was SUPER surprised by the quality of the cards! I’ve got production games with significantly lower quality! 😀 Now, I’ve come to EXPECT quality from Crash Games, but this was a surprise! I’ll actually be keeping this preview with my first edition copy when I pledge (*sigh*) for the 2nd edition on KS  🙂

The cards themselves are a perfect, small, unobtrusive size and fit beautifully within the game like they were there from the start. You can see one of them in play here:

Anyway, I think any fan of CoV is going to love the expansion, and with the hints at extras on the upcoming Mega-CoV Kickstarter, I think it’s going to be a crazy ride! I’m looking forward to it!!

Any specific questions about the expansion? Just ask!  🙂
